🐾🎉 GEARS 4th Annual Craftathon is Back — and Bigger Than Ever! 🐾🎉  

The Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society (GEARS) is thrilled to bring back our beloved Craftathon — and this year, we’re teaming up once again with the incredible Yarn Rebels to make it extra special!

🗓️ Saturday, November 8th | 9AM–9PM  

📍 Sherwood Park Log Cabin (50 Spruce Ave, Sherwood Park, AB)  

🏡 Prefer to craft from home? No problem! You can join virtually and check in with us throughout the day.

🎨 Crafting for a Cause  

Spend the day creating, connecting, and contributing to animals in need. Bring your own projects or dive into one of ours — we’ll have special crafts available to make for foster animals in our care.

💪 The Crafter Challenge!  

– Each participant is encouraged to raise $100 by 9:00AM on event day.  

– If the goal isn’t met, a small $10 fee will help cover event costs — and keep the good vibes going!

🧶 Yarn Rebels Rummage Sale | 1PM–5PM  

Don’t miss this treasure trove of crafty goodies, hosted by our amazing partners, the Yarn Rebels. It’s the perfect chance to stock up on supplies and support the cause.

🏆 Prizes Galore!  

We’ve got fabulous prizes lined up for:  

– Top fundraisers  

– Most spirited team

– Standout crafters  

So bring your A-game and your team pride!

💌 Donations & Tax Receipts  

Every donation of $20 or more earns an automatic tax receipt.  

When donating, be sure to select a team — otherwise, your contribution will go to the general pool (which still helps the animals, but won’t count toward your team’s total).
