Sam *adopted!*

Hi, my name is Sam! Sam I am 😉. But don’t worry I don’t eat green eggs and ham! I’m the cutest boy you’ve ever seen… well, that’s what my foster mom says. She also says I’m the sweetest boy ever with the best temperament. I’m only 19 months old but I act like a distinguished gentleman. I know sit and stay and I come when called by my name. I’m also very calm and loving when in the house. AND I am potty trained!! 

I love making new dog friends, visiting with kids, figuring out what cats are all about, going for car rides to new places, and working hard at becoming your new best friend. I like to work my way into your heart by cuddling with you on the couch and snuggling with you in bed (but I’ll sleep on my dog bed if I’m not allowed in yours). My foster mom loves that I like to ‘work’ with her in the home office. I also have the cutest little smile when I’m excited to see you or I’m getting those wonderful scratches. I take treats so gently. You’ll melt at how sweet I am. I also respect other dogs’ food bowls and share treats with no issues.

Though I’m very calm in the house and not destructive at all, I do need to get all my energy out. I will do best in an active home where I’m walked or get to go jogging every day and have a dog buddy to play and wrestle with. I really need another calm doggo to live with please.

I am fearful of new dogs while on leash, and need a patient family to work with me while I navigate meeting new dogs. An easy walker is best for me. I need a secure yard or to be on a lead as I can jump really high and I don’t mind taking the opportunity to explore the neighbourhood (don’t let me get this opportunity – hee hee). I should also mention that I like to growl when playing but it’s all in fun and my foster brothers don’t mind. I would do best with a family who is around a lot as I get sad when you leave and tend to cry. I don’t love the kennel but I have been very good when left out in the house with my foster brothers.
