Pussy Willow

Hello there! My name is Pussy Willow, but my foster mom calls me “Pitou” (a sweet French nickname that means “little one”). She says it suits me perfectly, and I’m working hard every day to live up to it!

I’m a gentle soul with a heart that’s learning to trust again. I may have had a bumpy start in life, but I’m slowly discovering how wonderful people can be. Sudden noises or loud voices still make me a little nervous, and I’m not quite sure about being picked up just yet—but I love being near my humans and soaking up their affection in my own way. In fact, I’ve been practicing my cuddle time and recently hit a personal best: eight whole seconds in my human’s arms! Baby steps, right?

One of my favorite things is lounging in my cozy bed by the patio doors, watching the world go by. But when the harness comes out—oh boy!—I’m ready for an adventure. I adore going for walks and exploring safely by your side. I’m also quite the playful girl! My signature move? “Ambush!”—I’m a champion at hiding under paper and springing out to play. It always makes my foster mom laugh, and I love that.

What I’m really dreaming of is a forever home—a patient, loving person who’s around most of the time, someone who enjoys playtime and quiet moments, and who will let me blossom at my own pace. I promise, I’m trying so hard to be the best companion I can be. I just need someone who believes in me.
