Potato

Hey everyone, my name is Potato! I was named because my #1 hobby is being a couch potato and snuggling with my humans. Don’t be mistaken though, I love to go out and get in good zoomie sessions in the backyard and I LOVE walks. I actually love everything that has to do with humans. If I could be next to a human forever I would be. I don’t really understand that I am a big boy and some people might be afraid of my size… I just want to hug every single human I see! 

I am pretty good on a leash, I am great in the car, and I am crate trained. Sometimes on leash I pull a little bit, especially when there’s a human I’d like to say hi to, but I can be redirected pretty easily. For sleeping, I would prefer if the humans would let me sleep even closer to them – maybe on top of them. I sleep through the night in my crate but I am not big on sleeping in and I think the optimal wake up time is no later than 8 am (hee hee). I also know how to sit and lay down. I love treats and I would love if my forever family taught me more tricks.

Sometimes I can be a little bit bossy with the humans when I would like to get snuggled and petted and I will throw hands to show the humans what I’d like them to do. My foster family has been trying to discourage it but it’s a hard habit to break when it gets me what I want (at least some of the time). 

I am an extremely loving boy and I can’t wait to find my forever family! Can that be you???
