Pingu

Hello! My name is Pingu and I love to play! Bring a toy over and I’m your new best friend. I am shy at first and take some time to get used to my surroundings and people.

 

Once I’m comfortable, I will be following you around, begging for cuddles, and leaping for toys! I would love to find a home that is fairly quiet and not too busy as people (especially strangers) and loud noises can still make me nervous and hide.

 

To be happy and thrive with my new family, another cat or kitten is ideal for me to socialize, play, and bond with. I like to play so much that sometimes I can get a little rough, but a gentle reminder, slower play, and redirection are key to playing more gently and being less pointy. I don’t have much experience with non-adults, so slow introductions with older children would be where I am more comfortable. A tall cat tree with lots of scratching areas keeps me away from the furniture and entertained – extra love if it’s near a window where I can talk to the birds. Sometimes I come when called and love getting pets as a reward when I do.
