Phoebe – on hold for applications

Hi, I’m Phoebe! I am a really loving girl and I want to be everywhere you are! I love my foster siblings so much and would prefer another dog in the home to help me learn that life isn’t so scary (I love my foster sister Hayley, who is also a doggo, and I squeal with excitement every time I see her). I am extremely smart and currently live on an acreage which has helped me to have great recall. I love to be outside as often as I can playing in the mud and snow! I would love to spend time outdoors with you as often as we can!

 

I really LOVE kids. I have been very gentle with babies giving them kisses and I love to snuggle with small kids. I know how to be gentle and respect boundaries.

 

My foster home has two kitties and I am SO curious about them. I like to chase them thinking it’s a big game, but I am slowly learning that this is only fun for me. I can be redirected and stop chasing when I am told to, but I need to go to a home without kitties.

 

I’m house trained but not crate trained. I prefer to sleep on a comfy dog bed, but I have been learning that crates aren’t so scary and I sometimes go in to sleep in one on my own. I LOVE food – I am still learning that food will come at regular intervals and that I don’t need to swallow it in one bite (I use a puzzle feeder and that slows me down). Because of this, my training has been very successful with treats. I know sit, lay down, stay, and I am working on shake.

 

I love to play with my 3 foster doggo siblings but I really am a low energy gal – when I am playing, I prefer playing with bigger dogs who are more close to my size.
