Hi everyone! I’m Ollie. It’s really nice to meet you.😊 I’ve put together a little bit of info on myself. Want to know more about me? Please read on (I hope you like what you read).

My love for fetch knows no bounds! You’ll find me with a tennis ball/toy/sock in my mouth 24/7, ready for a game of catch at a moment’s notice. I’ve got impeccable aim and can play this game tirelessly. Get your throwing arm ready, because I never tire of it! I also love to lay in the pool when I start getting played out as I just find the cool water so refreshing on my black fur!

I’m not just your average Lab – it seems that I’m also part cat! I love to snuggle up and will curl around you like a furry feline, craving endless belly rubs and bum scratches. My warm, velvety fur and loving purrs (yes, dogs can purr too!) make for the perfect cuddle companion after an active play session. I love to sleep next to your bed, and sometimes cuddle a bit when we first lay down!

My enthusiasm sometimes gets the best of me, especially when it comes to toys or excitement when you get home. Watch out, little humans! If you’ve got a toy I want or if the excitement is too much to handle, I might just bump you around like a joyful hurricane. But don’t worry, I mean well and am learning to be gentle with the little ones. I am super gentle when I try to play with my toddler foster sister. She runs around the house while I follow intently as she takes my toy, just sometimes I take it off her lap if she doesn’t throw it for me quick enough (hee hee). 

I’m not just a family dog, I’m everyone’s best friend once I meet them! I bark when they walk up to me though. I’m the life of every backyard barbecue, the star of the dog park (after proper introductions; I just need those nosey-noses to not be at the gate waiting for me excitedly), and the go-to playdate for neighborhood pups. My infectious energy and friendly nature make me the perfect companion for all. I do need a bit of work along fences, as it seems they get me toooooo excited for whoever is outside my fence!

I am a crate-trained champ although it’s not my favorite place to be. I may have a touch of separation anxiety, so when you’re away, I’ll find comfort in my cozy crate. Just make sure to leave some of my favourite toys and a soft blanket in there for me and I’ll be good to go. I may bark a bit when you leave but I will fall asleep. I also know to do my business outside, but don’t leave me whining for too long in the mornings or I won’t be able to hold it any longer! I love having a large backyard and a full time buddy to play with. I like having space to zoom around when I am excited!

Soooo let me sum it up for you! I’m a high-energy, lovable Lab who lives for ball games, cuddles, swims and making memories with my favourite humans. I’m a bit of a tornado when it comes to toys and excitement, but my heart is as big as my boundless energy. If you’re ready for a lifetime of fun and companionship, I’ll be the perfect addition to your family. I will need some help in getting used to socializing as I can be guarded at first but I LOVE meeting new friends once I’ve moved past that, and with humans, well, I just love everyone!
