Nellie

Hey everyone! My name is Nellie! I am a friendly, sweet, no-fuss, mature kitty. I like my own space and am very independent, but I also don’t like to be left out of the fun!

I enjoy a good napping spot and am partial to drawers, cupboards and cozy little nooks and crannies. I have bursts of kitten energy and will chase my toys around, tossing them in the air and carrying them into my set-up for the perfect game (heehee). Food really excites me and I have the cutest meow when I recognize that it’s dinner time. 

You will find that I am a very independent kitty – I don’t like a lot of hustle-bustle around me (and I will defend my space). I like to have spots where I can observe the household but feel tucked away. And if the resident dog keeps out of MY space, I will keep out of HIS, lol.

I would love a person to follow around and snuggle next to and have all the attention to myself. I’m a strong purr-er when I find just the right spot and I like to play cute, peeking around corners and through my play tent. I’m a very easy-going, no-fuss, no-hassle sort of kitty but I’m used to a certain level of quiet and calm. I would love someone to dote on me and I will dote on you!
