Rescue Story
Lindie came to GEARS as an owner surrender and is ready to find her true forever.
My Bio
Hiiiii, I’m Lindie! Here’s a few fun facts about me…I sleep soundly throughout the night and do not need to be crated. However, I would prefer to be in the room with my human (ummm, can you blame me?). I have a squishy bed of my own that I like quite a bit but I will always jump up for a cuddle (when invited). I am very good at sitting for treats and waiting for my dinner. My foster momma says that it’s crazy how quickly I learn once I understand what she wants! Can you believe that I stay at the door when I come in so my feet will dry?? My foster momma tells me that I’m the best of all the doggos in my house at “staying”. She says she can tell that I’m a lucky girl. That I must have been very loved, even if my first family couldn’t keep me.
Ok, back to more about me! I love being with my human(s). I watch and follow foster momma everywhere! The best part is, now I know she won’t leave me, so I love just going to my room for a nap.
Wanna know what the best sound in the world next to the crunching of a treat bag is?? The jingle of car keys!! Wohooohooo I know fun’s just around the corner when I hear those keys. Last weekend we spent the whole day at a “ball tournament” (I think that’s what it’s called)…. anyway there were tall people, short people, a bunch of people all wearing the same clothes, other dogs, big, small, friendly, not so friendly….WELL, my foster momma bragged about me to everyone! She said I was the best. No barking, no pulling, indifferent to people surrounding me…
Wow! Who cares about the people when I had all the smells OMG the smells…..annnywaaays….I jump, just sometimes, when I forget but, it’s not very often because I’ve been practicing and I have almost mastered the difference between playing with my fur family and playing with my humans. I am gentle…but still a little clumsy. One other little thing, I will remind you in your absence, that we haven’t “done enough” (I may need to spend a little more energy). You may find a shoe that was once in the closet, now in the kitchen or maybe the remote control won’t be where it was when you left me…before going for our walk:). Just a little thing but thought I would mention it hee hee.
BTW did I tell you that I have a Frenchie, Pomeranian, Doberman Pinscher and a Heinz 57 just like me in my foster fur pack? Well, I do and I LOVE. THEM. ALLLLLLL. Even if they aren’t all sure about me.
My foster momma says she is going to miss me a ton, but there is a person or family out there that it is going to be so lucky when I pick them.
I cannot wait to meet you ❤️.
Love,
Lindie
