Lavender

Hi, I’m Lavender! I know my name is long but it’ll roll off your tongue in a few short weeks of knowing (and loving) me. I love to be with people whether it’s going on walks, movie night, or visiting friends and family. If I can’t come with you, don’t worry, I am crate-trained! Simply say “crate” and I know where to go.  

I am a smart cookie. I know sit, shake a paw, lay down, and stay. And I would LOVE to have a space to run, especially when I have the zoomies. A fenced yard to do that would be best! I will require someone who will be patient with me and help redirect my energy when I get overly excited and jump.

Breakfast and dinner are some of my favourite parts of the day. I will sit and stay on your command and wait for you to say “go get it!”

If you are busy at home, I am okay with that too. I will enjoy snoozing and it’s a bonus if I get to snooze close to you! I can be by myself in the crate if you are home and need to get work done. I busy myself with a toy… I love to chew on bones!

Sometimes I get excited and may pee a little because I am SO happy to see you, especially when you come home! Other than that, I am house trained and will go to the front door when I need to be let out. 

I simply will love you and love all the people that come to our home. My foster humans call me sweet but I call me yours 🥰.
