Krocket

Hi everyone! My name’s Krocket and my foster parents say I am a very special boy who loves making new friends. I’m very affectionate and love to cuddle with my people, especially if I get hugs and belly rubs 🤗.

I sleep through the night very soundly and do not need to be kennelled. I stay in a kennel during the day when my people go to work because I’m still a pup and like to sneak slippers/shoes and chew them (hee hee). My people like that I am house trained and do not make messes in the house or kennel. I’m a really good boi!

I am very food motivated and like to learn things like sit, stay, down, shake a paw, come and leave it. I sit very patiently waiting for my turn at getting treats and I am very careful not to bite fingers. Sometimes I get very excited and playful and like to jump up on people, so we are working on that.  

I like playing with tennis balls, Kongs, and especially squeaky toys. My favorite game is scramble where my foster mom throws some kibble outside into the snow so me and my two foster siblings can run around looking for the snaccos and then gobble them all up! Then we like to take turns chasing each other until we get tired… and then it’s nap time!

I do not like when the vacuum comes out as it’s very noisy. I’m a bit anxious riding in the car but I am getting better, especially once we arrive somewhere fun! I do like to sit and look out the big living room window to watch people, dogs and cars go by. I will bark to let them know if they are getting too close to my space. Who wouldn’t?
