Dee Dee – on hold for applications

Hey everyone! My name is Dee Dee. Everyone who meets me falls in love and the feeling is mutual🥰. If you’re reading this, I love you already! I am a big-hearted pup who adores playing with other dogs (especially little ones) and my favourite activity is running around and gathering friends at the off leash area by my foster home. I am pretty good with recall, especially if a treat is waiting for me.

I’ve learned some cool things like how to go to my bed and wait to be called when my food dish is filled, how to “ask” to go outside by touching the bells hanging on the door with my nose, how to sit (verbal and hand command) and wait for a treat or my harness, quite patiently. There are many more tricks just waiting to be learned and I’m up for it as I’m a smart cookie🍪!

I am quiet, having not quite found my bark yet (despite the neighbour dogs trying their best to teach me). I am well-mannered and I sleep soundly throughout the night on the floor by my person’s bed. I do like a routine and I wake up around 7 am to go pee. Aside from that, I sleep well and all night and do not need to be crated, though I do not mind a crate.  I respect boundaries within the house and know that the bed and bathroom are off limits.  

I am very gentle when I take treats from you. I like car rides and meeting new people (and I wiggle and play with glee when I meet new dog buddies).  

I love playing with random sticks, chew bones and toys.  I’m a true northern girl and absolutely LOVE the snow. Cold weather doesn’t bother me a bit! I would really love a backyard to play in. I‘ll always take a time out for some belly rubs or any time spent by your side as I’m a very affectionate girl.
