My Bio
Hi there! My name is Dave & I’m so excited to be ready for adoption! I came to my foster Mom’s place as a stray with a pretty goopy eye. After a couple of rounds of antibiotics, I’m all healthy and ready to find my forever home! I’m a very affectionate boy. I love to cuddle in the morning when you wake up, throughout the day, and will cuddle with you until you fall asleep. Sometimes I miss cuddling so much I’ll wake up my foster Mom and curl up for more! I especially love to be held like the little baby I am.
I’ve also become a lot more playful since I’ve healed up. When I’m in a playful mood, you can forget about pets and picking me up; it’s go time! I love toys I can swat around the floor and chase, as well as some catnip treats from time to time! I am a very clumsy cat, so I’ll trot around like I have little boots on, and flop on the floor lots.
I can be a little picky with food – some food brands like Acana make me sick and throw up, but I’ve been a really good boy and eat everything else. Speaking of being a good boy! I am really good at using my litter box, but pretty bad at covering up stinky poops. I don’t usually scratch furniture, unless I haven’t played enough and want some attention. But I only do it for a second and I stop right away! I’m good at listening to “No.” I’ll be your happy, little best pal if you give me enough love & play! When you come home from work, expect to be greeted by me with lots of meowing! Don’t worry, it’s just me telling you how much I missed you, and I’ll stop when I’m picked up or given a little bit of love.
I don’t have lots of experience with dogs or cats, but I’m great with people of all ages! My foster mom thinks I’ll do well as long as the other pets are friendly.
I hope you choose me for your forever home. I can’t wait to meet you!
Love, David Boots with the Fur
Medical Note: Dave has a history of eye infection. His right eye doesn’t open completely but the infection has been treated and Dave has been cleared by the vet. He may have limited peripheral vision and can be a bit clumsy but otherwise unaffected
