Hello! My name is
Critter
Rescue Story
Critter was born into GEARS’ care and, although he was adopted out, he was returned to us through no fault of his own. He had CBLO surgeries on 2 legs and, after healing up nicely, he’s now ready to find his furever home!
My Bio
Hello, friends! My name is Critter and I love life! I love to fetch balls, play tug of war and chew chewies… but by far my favourite thing is to rip up stuffies!
I travel very well in the car and am crate trained and house trained. Staying in the crate all day makes me a little nervous but only because I know my people are leaving. Foster mom has found that lots of praise over food reward works best for this. Once I bond to you, my recall off leash is very good. I love the dog park and LOVE to run now that both my knees are made of metal. I have healed beautifully from my surgeries and am still very young so walking, running and playing are what I love to do. I love to play with other dogs! I walk well on leash with a halti but do like to pull a little if you use my collar. I am learning what water is and how fun it can be – that it is not scary and can be super fun!
I love kids and people. I can be with my foster mom’s chickens unsupervised and love to visit the guinea pigs while they are being cleaned and fed. I am ready for my next adventure. Can that be with you?
Love, Critter 🧡💛
