Hello! My name is
Archie was found alone in a commercial parking lot in Sherwood Park with an injured hind leg. She was suspected to have been on her own for a while as she was small and thin for her age. Now, after time spent in a loving foster home, she’s ready to find her furever home!
Hello, my name is Archie and I am a playful and happy kitten looking for my forever family. My foster mom says I am a great combo of “sugar and spice” which means that I am a very lovey and snugly baby when I am tired, but also have a lot of play energy… so I need a lot of different games and toys to wear me out!
Did I mention that I LOVE toys? All kinds, but the ones with feathers or balls are the best! I get so excited and bat them around, pounce and run. It’s so much fun! I can be very persistent about playing with other cats so I’d need a high energy kitten to play with. Playing is fun! Everyone said I might have a limp in my hind leg because it was fractured, but it does not hold me back at all. Beyond looking a little different, I have full mobility and can run and jump and pounce with the best!
Once I’m sufficiently played out, I like to follow my foster mom around until she sits down, so I can snuggle. I especially love to nap on her lap or chest. I fall asleep so quickly with some good forehead rubs and a cozy lap cushion! I also love to relax on the couch or in a sunny spot by a window when I am sleepy.
Are you my purrrrfect family? I sure hope so!
**Medical Note: After Archie was rescued, we noticed that her hind leg didn’t look right so she was taken to a veterinarian right away. X-rays showed that she’d experienced a fracture but it had already healed and we were advised it was safe to let her leg continue to heal as it was.**
